Janus GridEX
This weeks entry
is a simple advert for a very good grid control for .NET - it looks
good, works well, and is nice and flexible.
The group and sort
features are neat and efficient. If asked to find improvements we'd
be looking for a simpler set of configuration storage functions -
the whole lot can be read/written to a file, but often you just want
to store column widths, order, sort, filter, group - those sorts
of things - and to the same file as the rest of the application.
But all in all
it is a huge leap forwards over the .NET datagrid, and by all accounts
should be ahead of the 2.0 "new and improved" grid.
